Today in western civ, we went over some of the notes we took in class the other day, we also continued to watch the Guns, Germs, and Steel video and took more notes;
all of the domesticated animals were native to New Guinea or Australia, sub saharan Africa, and North America. The only animal not in those countries were llamas in South America. The other 13 are from Asia, Europe, North America. Cows, sheep, goats, and pigs are from the Middle East. And we discovered that Gwar is a 9,000 year old civilization and they created plaster to make it. At the end of class we talked about all of our notes and the snow days we had.
